Founder fit calculator

The name digit is read against the driver and against the conductor, and each of them is read back against the name. Four directions, because the table is not symmetric.

A founder who is a 1 and a name that totals to 8 sit opposed in the table. Neither the founder nor the name is at fault; together they leak effort into arguments about authority.

How this calculator works

  • R-DRIVER Driver (mulank) = day of birth reduced. Conductor (bhagyank) = all eight digits of the date summed once, reduced.
  • R-FOUR Four readings: name to driver, driver to name, name to conductor, conductor to name. A number is friendly to the name if both directions are friend or one is friend and the other neutral; opposed if either direction is opposed.
  • R-VERDICT Supported by both numbers, by one, or by neither; in conflict when any direction is opposed. Score 100, 85, 70, 30 or 0.
  • R-ROLE The driver's role family (leadership, back office, PR and so on) is printed from the roles table.

Not what this tells you. Compatibility describes friction, not competence. A Clash is a reason to respell the name or accept the friction knowingly, not a reason to change the founder.

The reason

The directional friendship table (v1 5.3) says how each number regards each other number; 1 regards 8 as opposed and 8 regards 1 as opposed, but 6 regards 3 as opposed while 3 regards 6 as opposed too, and 7 regards everyone as at least neutral. Reading both directions is what makes the verdict honest.

Where the schools disagree

  • Some practitioner tables list 1 and 9, 6 and 9, 8 and 9 or 9 and 3 differently. This site keeps the crawled table so every page agrees with itself.

The Business Name Report scores three respellings, reads the founder in both directions, flags karmic numbers and dates a 30-day plan. The Blueprint adds the Lo Shu grid, the twelve-month calendar, partners, phone, domain and premises.

Questions founders ask

Which matters more, driver or conductor?

Both are read. Practitioners weight the driver for how a founder acts day to day and the conductor for what the years bring; the verdict needs the name to be supported by both.

My name is neutral to both. Is that bad?

No. Neutral is silence, not opposition. It scores 70 and the name can still be strong on its compound.

Can I fix a Clash without renaming?

Often. A respelling within one or two edits moves the digit; Name Variants finds them and this calculator confirms the fit.

Why is the table not symmetric?

The tradition explains it through planetary hierarchy: a lesser body counts a greater one as a friend without the compliment being returned.
