Sector fit calculator
Pick a sector and a number, or a name to total. The tool reads the sector table's cell, names the rank among the favoured numbers, and shows the whole grid with your row and column highlighted.
An 8 name in a restaurant or a 6 name in a school is advised against by the practitioner tables. The founder finds out after the signboard is printed.

VERROW ESTATES totals 53/8, so the number read is 8.
Real estate and property favours 5, 8, 6, 2 in that order. 8 ranks 2 of the favoured numbers.

How this calculator works
- R-MATRIX Scores 96, 90, 84, 78 for the favoured order; 82, 76, 70, 64 for suitable with a condition; 55 for no statement; 48 for a partial caution; 15 for advised against.
- R-BLOCKS Blocks apply to the whole sector; conditions apply to named sub-segments (8 against broking in finance, 8 and 4 against liquids in e-commerce, and so on).
- R-ORDER Founder driver first, conductor second, name digit as a further layer; the sector mapping applies after the founder numbers.
Not what this tells you. Neutral is silence, not approval. A 55 says the tradition has not spoken about that number in that sector.
The reason
The 26 by 9 matrix scores each number in each sector from 15 to 96. 96 is the first-named number, 90 to 78 follow in the favoured order, 55 means the tradition makes no statement, and 15 is a block. Blocks are applied as blocks, never as a low score.
Where the schools disagree
- Sources disagree whether the founder's number or the name's number decides sector fit. This site reads both and reports each.

The Business Name Report scores three respellings, reads the founder in both directions, flags karmic numbers and dates a 30-day plan. The Blueprint adds the Lo Shu grid, the twelve-month calendar, partners, phone, domain and premises.
Questions founders ask
Which number is best for my sector?
Open the sector page: the favoured order is printed with reasons, and this tool shows the score of any number in it.
Does the founder's number override the sector?
No. The founder is read first; the sector mapping is applied on top. A number can suit a founder and be wrong for the company name at the same time.
What does a condition mean?
The number is favoured for the sector but prohibited for a sub-segment, such as 8 for logistics except liquid cargo.
