A business numerology glossary: the key terms defined

The terms
| Term | Definition |

| Driver number | The day of birth reduced to a single digit. How a person acts. |
| Conductor number | All eight digits of the date of birth summed once and reduced. What the years bring. |
| Kua number | A Feng Shui number from the birth year and sex; Kua 5 does not exist and becomes 2 or 8. Gives the desk-facing direction. |
| Name number | The letters of a name valued on the Chaldean table, summed once, reduced once. |
| Compound number | The name total before reduction. Read in Cheiro's table from 10 to 52 and in the practitioner corpus above it. |
| Chaldean table | Cheiro's letter values 1 to 8; no letter carries 9. The default here. |
| Pythagorean table | Letter values 1 to 9 by alphabetical position. The second lens. |
| Reduction | Summing the digits of a total until a single digit remains. Five modes exist; single is the default. |
| Master number | 11, 22 and 33 (44 in one mode), kept unreduced under the master modes. |
| Karmic debt number | 13, 14, 16 and 19 as unreduced totals. Read as debts to work through. |
| Friendship table | The directional table of how each number regards each other: friend, neutral or opposed. Not symmetric. |
| Pair grade | The two directions of the friendship table summed: Aligned, Workable, Mixed, Strained, Adverse. |
| Refusal pair | A driver pair practitioners refuse for business partnership outright: 1-8, 2-8, 2-9, 2-7, 3-6, 4-8, 4-9, 4-4, 8-8. |
| Contested pair | A pair some practitioners refuse and others allow: 3-4, 7-8, 2-4, 2-6, 6-9. |
| Families | The groups {1, 2, 4, 7}, {3, 6, 9} and {5, 8}. A name in the owner's family is preferred. |
| Composite | The Partner Check score from minus 10 to plus 10, built from the four directional readings of two founders. |
| Founder fit | Whether a name digit is supported by the founder's driver and conductor: Strong, Supported, Neutral or Clash. |
| Verdict weight | The number a compound's verdict contributes to the Name Score: Excellent 96, Good 84, Neutral 60, Mixed 55, Caution 42, Avoid 15, undefined 50. |
| Sector matrix | The 26 by 9 table of fit scores from 15 to 96. Blocks are applied as blocks, never as low scores. |
| Favoured order | The numbers a sector names, in priority. 96 first, then 90, 84, 78. |
| Condition | A number favoured for a sector but prohibited for a sub-segment, such as 8 for logistics except liquid cargo. |
| Personal year | Day plus month plus the target year, each reduced. Rated on the launch ladder. |
| Personal month | Personal year plus the calendar month, reduced. |
| Personal day | Personal month plus the day of the month, reduced. |
| Universal year | The calendar year reduced. 2026 is 10/1. |
| Company year | The personal-year formula applied to the incorporation date. An extension of the tradition, labelled as such. |
| Launch ladder | The rating of personal years for launches: 1, 5, 6 strongest; 8; 3; 2; 9; 7; 4 weakest. |
| Weekday planet | Sunday 1, Monday 2, Tuesday 9, Wednesday 5, Thursday 3, Friday 6, Saturday 8. No weekday carries 4 or 7. |
| Lo Shu grid | The 3 by 3 square 4-9-2, 3-5-7, 8-1-6 filled from the date digits, driver, conductor and Kua. |
| Planes | The eight lines of the Lo Shu grid: Mental, Emotional, Practical, Thought, Will, Action, Golden and Silver. |
| Grid strength | The mean completion of the eight planes, diagonals weighted 1.25. |
| Business Score | The composite across founder, name, industry, timing, partnership and assets, weighted 26/24/16/14/10/10 and rescaled for what is supplied. |
| Navagraha | The nine planets of Vedic astrology. Sun 1, Moon 2, Jupiter 3, Rahu 4, Mercury 5, Venus 6, Ketu 7, Saturn 8, Mars 9. |
| Remedy kit | The bracelet, rudraksha, yantra and stone traditionally worn or placed to strengthen a planet, selected from the Pandit.com catalogue by rule. |
| Respelling | A change of one or two letters that moves a name to a better compound without changing what it sounds like. |
