Timing outlook calculator
Four years from the start year you choose, each with its personal year, its universal year, its rating on the launch ladder and twelve month strips tinted by how the driver reads them.
A 4 or a 7 personal year is the year the tradition says not to launch or expand. Founders who push through it remember a hard year; the calendar showed it in advance.

completion, clearing debts; friction after an 8 year
| Year | Personal | Universal | Company | Rating | Reads to driver 5 | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 | 9 | 1 | 3 | 45 | friend | completion, clearing debts; friction after an 8 year |
| 2027 | 1 | 2 | 4 | 100 | friend | beginnings, finance, buying and selling |
| 2028 | 2 | 3 | 5 | 60 | friend | partnership, patience, no major change |
| 2029 | 3 | 4 | 6 | 75 | friend | visibility, advertising, speaking; contracts with care |
Personal year = day + month + year, each reduced. Ladder: 1, 5, 6 strongest; 8 strong but heavy; 3 good; 2 modest; 9 weak; 7 slightly negative; 4 strongly negative. Chips in rose are months the driver reads as opposed. The company year is an extension of the tradition, not a classical rule.
How this calculator works
- R-PY Personal year = reduced day + reduced month + reduced year, reduced once.
- R-UY Universal year = calendar year reduced (2026 is 10/1, 2027 is 11/2).
- R-PM Personal month = personal year + calendar month, reduced; read against the driver via the friendship table.
- R-LADDER 1, 5, 6 = 100; 8 = 80; 3 = 75; 2 = 60; 9 = 45; 7 = 40; 4 = 20.
Not what this tells you. The outlook rates years for launches and expansion. It does not forecast revenue and does not replace the launch-date reading for a specific day.
The reason
Personal year = day + month + target year, each reduced. The ladder rates 1, 5 and 6 strongest, 8 strong but heavy, 3 good, 2 modest, 9 weak, 7 slightly negative, 4 strongly negative. The company year applies the same formula to the incorporation date and is labelled as an extension of the tradition.
Where the schools disagree
- Three rival personal-year formulas exist (world year based, last-birthday based, weekday based). The dominant one is used; the others are documented on the page on how the numbers are read.
- Whether a 4 year is consolidation or obstacle, and whether an 8 year is output or tension, is disputed. Both readings are printed.

The Business Name Report scores three respellings, reads the founder in both directions, flags karmic numbers and dates a 30-day plan. The Blueprint adds the Lo Shu grid, the twelve-month calendar, partners, phone, domain and premises.
Questions founders ask
When does the personal year change?
On 1 January in the dominant formula. Some practitioners run it birthday to birthday; the page on how the numbers are read records that variant.
Is a 9 year bad?
It is a completion year: clear debts, close what is finished. The 1 year that follows is the launch year.
What is the company year?
The personal-year formula applied to the incorporation date. It is this site's extension and is labelled so.
